Now.

Now is...

Waiting for baby (who, by the way, is now three days late - but who's counting?)

Seeking shade for an afternoon snack.

Dressing up in leftover beads and rainbows from the Pride parade.

Sunset beach picnics.

Helping Mommy make her shopping list.

Sidewalk chalk.

Walking to Starbucks with Daddy.

Ice cream dates with special friends.

Summer is now, and now is good.

  1. I'm sure it must be so hard to sit and wait and carry on with life with your girl. Soon. Soon. That baby will come so very soon. Hope you have some nice people in your life who can give you breaks and let you nap and grab a bath!

    1. Hubs has been so great these past few days, especially since Lilah's daycare has been closed and she's had me all to herself during the day. I was holding up well but I'm now REALLY starting to fatigue of this whole being pregnant thing. I know it will happen soon, and what's a few days in the grand scheme of things, but I feel SO READY now. More than ready!

  2. Oh waiting. It's my least favorite thing to. Sending labor vibes! It looks like you're finding fun ways to wait anyhow. xo

Fingers crossed for some baby action soon (and mayyyybe the other kind of action you suggested on twitter - if I can muster the energy). ;)
